2. Collection of
Ethnography

Paleontological collection represents traces of
activity on the land of ancient paleofauny and paleoflory. Approximately 1,000 items, is presented in the form of
petrified trunks of fossil trees, shells of mollusks, bryozoans,
fragments of fossilized bottom of the Paleozoic sea with their inhabitants, as
well as fingerprints on rocks, leaves, bark and trunks of ancient plants on
earth, in addition, this collection has a beautifully preserved fossil remains
of vertebrate animals of the Quaternary period (Mammoths,
rhinoceroses, wool, cattle, buffalo).
Zoological collection - is
more than 1,5 thousand items, including stuffed animals, carcasses, skulls,
horns, mammals, birds, as well as scientific collections of insects, describing
the fauna of different natural landscapes of the country.
Botanical collections of the museum contains mostly
herbarium of flora and medicinal plants of Khakassia Republic.
4. Collection IN Karachakovoy-Kartinoy
In 1989, the Provincial
Directorate of Culture of Khakassia Khakassia in the museum collection was
transferred to Irina Karachakovoy (1919-1989 years), known Khakas sculptor and
